How Fridai collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website or work with us as a client. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

Fridai is an operational intelligence platform operated by Fridai Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17216140), whose registered office is Unit 3, Lamplight Way, Salford M27 8UJ, United Kingdom. For the personal data described in this policy we act as the data controller, except where we process data on behalf of a client — in that case the client is the controller and we are the processor.
Questions about this policy or about how we handle data go to kyle@fridai.co.uk.
We keep collection deliberately narrow. Depending on how you interact with us:
We do not ask for special category data, and we would rather you did not send it to us in a contact form.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Under UK GDPR we rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries, run and secure our site, and maintain client relationships; on contract to deliver services we have agreed to provide; on consent for the newsletter and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time; and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records.
When Fridai connects to a client's systems, we process the data in those systems strictly on that client's documented instructions, under a written data processing agreement. The client decides what is connected, who can access it and how long it is retained. We do not use client operational data to train general-purpose models, and we do not repurpose it for our own analysis or marketing.
If you are an employee or customer of a Fridai client and want to exercise your rights over that data, contact that organisation directly — they hold the controller relationship. We will support them in responding.
Fridai's agents triage, schedule, communicate and reconcile as configured by each client. Workflows are designed with human oversight at the points that matter, and agent actions are logged and reviewable. Where a decision would produce a legal or similarly significant effect on an individual, it is routed for human review rather than taken automatically.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it, protected by multi-factor authentication and reviewed regularly. Integrations use scoped credentials rather than shared logins, and access is revoked when an engagement ends. Should a breach occur that risks people's rights, we will notify the ICO within 72 hours and affected individuals without undue delay.
We prefer UK and EU hosting. Where a supplier processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional safeguards where needed.
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent where consent is what we relied on. Email kyle@fridai.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. For material changes affecting how we use your data, we will tell you directly where we hold contact details for you.
